The focus of my consulting practice is to help small organizations
"right size" big ideas.
The focus of my consulting practice is to help small organizations
"right size" big ideas.
My 18-year career as an employee in higher education fundraising and outreach afforded me the opportunity to work in shops with ready-made constituencies, the best databases, big budgets and sufficient, full-time staffing. It was an incredible gift and a true apprenticeship to be part of these organizations.
The insight I bring to my clients is in the principles behind successful board development, volunteer engagement, solicitation, event planning, and visibility-- these are the same, regardless of your organization's size or budget.
Success is possible, even on a shoestring budget.
This is the good news I've been bringing to consulting clients since leaving higher education in 2011.
I only work with organizations whose heart and mission are consistent with my own. If I can't be your donor, I certainly should not be your consultant.
I am available to bid projects, to provide executive coaching (particular to executive skill building regarding volunteer and board management, donor cultivation and solicitation, and communications strategy), to lead workshops and board retreats, and as a short-term contract employee.
To get a better sense of what I bring to the work, please see my c.v. here.
